Why promise.

We all have our own personal reasons as to why we promise to be leaders within our social circles to annihilate Covid-19. But there are two main components that are foundational. Accountability and Influence.

Accountability

By signing the promise pledge and sharing it with your social circle you are making a commitment to do the right thing; to keep yourself and others safe. You are taking a stand. You are making it clear to yourself and to others that you are going to be holding the highest standards regarding maintaining the health and safety of yourself and others.

Influence

By signing the promise pledge and sharing it with your social circle you are taking a leadership role. You understand that your actions matter, and you influence those around you. We are influencers, for the best (and, sometimes, for the worst). When you cave-in and go to a birthday party, hug a friend you haven't seen in months, or don't wear a mask in public—you’re expressing that you’re ok with unsafe behavior.
